Steve’s in good company
Coming in at number one Zero is Dustin Johnson who Alan thinks might just be coming, “a little enigmatic.”
Shouldn’t that read, “A little more enigmatic”?
“2. Rory. I’m not sure it’s time to hit the panic button yet. Let’s give it, oh, a couple more minutes…”
I’m sure that Rory will say, “To be sure, to be sure.”
“4. Phil. Hey, I’m loving this renaissance as much as everyone else. But going on three years without a win, the moral victories are getting a little tiresome for this aging Hall of Famer.”
Gimme a break he’s playing great golf and with the Masters coming up he may just surprise us with a reprise of Jack Nicklaus’ 1986 Masters’ victory
“5. Michelle Wie. Wasn’t this going to be a comeback year? She went 75-72-75-75 to finish nearly DFL in Singapore. I’m starting to think she’s a little enigmatic.”
And I’m starting to think Shipnuck’s stuck for synonyms for enigmatic.
For the record
Over at Golfweek, Allen Etzler writes, “It's hard to argue with Scott for going with Williams, who was on the bag for 13 of the 14 majors Tiger Woods won. The two also were together when Scott won at Augusta in 2013. Williams is also scheduled to be on the bag for the other three majors this year.”

Quote of the Day
“The plan is set. David is doing an amazing job and we are working very well together, but you could offer Steve the job to any player in the world for Augusta and they are going to want to take him.” – Adam Scott
